MY  STORY

The saying, when life throws you lemons you make lemonade, well that is definitely what happened to me. I thought a career in Public Relations was going to take me places, what I failed to realize was that those careers weren't where I wanted them to be. So, with no career goal in site I started my journey with McCain Foods. After two years of working my way from the ground up I was offered a position as a cost accountant, I know, not exactly in the Public Relations field, I appreciated the opportunity and grabbed it by the horns, knowing this was my chance. This opportunity lead me down the path that I am on today. Eventually moving in to HR with McCain Foods, it was evident where I belonged, working and engaging with employees to help them succeed.

Along the way, I met my husband and we started to grow our family. Now the four of us live life to the fullest and enjoy everything that comes our way. Our favorite place to be is at Disneyland, what a great place for young ladies to see what a dream and hard work can accomplish. We live in a house where Disney Magic is real and appreciated. As these little ladies continue to grow it is important that I show them what going for your dreams looks like. Be the change you want to see and dream big, which is what I am doing!
